One of the substantial  and finely restored cast iron overall roof supporting columns at Preston station with another long-surviving part of our UK-railway heritage, Direct Rail Services class 37 No.37602, just departing the former Rail Express Systems platform prior to its return to Carlisle Kingmoor depot upon completion of snow plough standby duty.
