Downstairs at Retford

On the morning of Thursday 17 September 2026, I found myself on the lower platforms at Retford station in Nottinghamshire. Having photographed this unit passing under the East Coast Mainline, I then sought out a more unconventional view of the train. Here is the result. For the record, Northern Rail DMU no. 150125 formed 1L41, the Leeds (0838hrs) to Lincoln service, seen here departing platform 3 at 1020hrs.
