Port Talbot Old Timer

Heralding from 1955, this 67 year old shunter is still performing heavy shunting duties at the steel works in South Wales, and is preferred by the drivers to the battery powered shunters of newer ilk apparently. It is a Brush Bagnall 515hp Bo-Bo diesel-electric, No 903, seen here on a rake of steel coil carriers close to the gates leading out to Margam Knuckle Yard, around 4pm Wednesday 26.10.22.
