Bow and Aller...

I have just given this old shot a bit of a make over in the virtual darkroom. It has had some dust and scratch removal, a little sharpening and a run through Topaz DeNoise.
It is a shot that can't be recreated in any way shape or form and shows 50012 Benbow running a rake of Mk 1s on a Newton Abbot to Paignton service which would then form the 1425 Paignton to Paddington.
The road behind Benbow has now been upgraded to a dual carriageway and a big white wall separates the road from the railway. Behind the DMU is a Sainsburys superstore. The trees have gone and so has that amazing "Pick up brakes" sign. Aller Junction is a few hundred yards behind be.
