A Little X-tra from Halifax

Notwithstanding the slightly altered tag line from an old TV advert, there is plenty of interest in the Halifax skyline here, as a Northern class 158 DMU leaves the station and crosses Beacon Hill viaduct with a Huddersfield to Bradford Interchange service on 23rd October 2022. The modern building with the dark glass exterior, which stands out a bit like a sore thumb, is in fact the Halifax head office of the Lloyds Banking Group and Halifax Building Society.
