Lighting Up Time

Just after sunset, GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66788 "Locomotion 15" arrives in Buxton from Great Rocks and the former Midland Railway line with 4H61, the 09:54 Small Heath – Dowlow empties on 24th November 2020.
The single line on the right of the signal box is the former LNWR line up to Hindlow and Dowlow quarries and after running round in the URS (behind the camera) the train will take that route. The double track in the foreground leads into Buxton station about half a mile to the right.
