IK's Railway

1V62 has arrived at Lostwithiel 22 minutes down on its voyage from Motherwell to Penzance; the signal is off and the driver has just had the right away and the Voyager will disappear into the black Cornish night. Taken from the roof of the former Great Western Railway Carriage Works which has been converted into smart apartments and commercial buildings. The works buildings are Grade 2 listed and opened in 1859. Historic England lists them as possibly designed by I. K. Brunel although most folk in the village reckon they were certainly designed by the man himself, whether they were or not they look quite superb.
