Cast A Long Shadow

A clear and frosty night led to a beautiful morning with the low sun casting long shadows. Closely following a stopping train with the inevitable signal checks, the driver of Colas Class 56 Nos. 56094 & 56087 opens up as he rounds the bend at the bottom of Hoghton incline and passes alongside Pleasington golf course with 6E32, the Preston – Lindsey discharged bitumen tanks on 29th November 2019.
